Taunton Deane Crematorium is on the western side of the town towards Wellington and is easily reached by car and public transport.

It was opened in 1963, and built by a local firm using stone from local quarries. The Crematorium was presented with a Civic Award in 1965 and became a grade 2 listed building in 1998 because of its special architectural interest.

It is set in landscaped grounds which are carefully tended by our staff. This offers a peaceful place to visit and remember loved ones.

The large chapel can seat 120 people comfortably. Attendance at services can exceed 300 people with standing.

The chapel has a classic pipe organ as well as a modern music and video system. We can also arrange for funerals to be webcast for those friend and family members who cannot attend.

Our chapel area offers waiting rooms, refreshments and public toilets. The office is here so that we can give help and information when needed.

Full graves, cremated remains graves and memorials for remembrance are available.
