Pay business rates
You can pay your business rates in different ways.
Ways to pay
Paying by Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your bill on time. You can choose to pay on one of these dates: 1st, 8th, 15th, 20th or 23rd of each month.
To set up a Direct Debit:
- download the Direct Debit mandate, print, complete and upload using the general enquiries online form
- call us on 0300 304 8000 and we’ll set one up for you
You can pay business rates using a Visa and Mastercard debit or credit card. You will need your business rates account number (you can find this at the top of your bill).
Use your internet banking service to set up a regular payment to us. Quote the business rates account number shown on your bill.
Our bank details are:

You can pay your business rates at any Post Office free of charge using the barcode on the front of your bill.
Always keep your receipt to prove you’ve paid.
If you pay by cheque at a Post Office, pay at least five days before the due date so it will get to your account on time.
