Grants for voluntary community organisations
Grants are available for projects benefiting Somerset West and Taunton residents.
Somerset West Lottery
The Somerset West Lottery is a local lottery run by Somerset West and Taunton Council. The lottery offers registered good causes the opportunity to raise income for their organisation by selling tickets to members of the public. It gives 50p from every £1 ticket sold to local registered good causes with 10p from every ticket sale going into a community grant fund for which local good causes can apply twice yearly.
If you wish to apply to become a good cause contact Somerset West Lottery. Somerset West Lottery Local Community Fund is launched annually, check this page regularly for dates and details.
You may wish to contact Spark Somerset who are funded by SWTC to support community groups within SWT.
Taunton unparished fund
This fund is for community improvements in the unparished central area of Taunton and is administered by the Charter Trustees for Taunton on behalf of Somerset West and Taunton Council, who retain final sign-off for all bids.
