Residents are reminded that online is the quickest and most effective way to access many services run by Somerset West and Taunton Council.

So, before you call us, you may be able complete your task online. This speeds things up, saves public money and frees up time so we can support those who can't get online.

Here is a handy list of tasks that you can do online.

Council housing repairs

You can report your non-emergency repair using the report a repair online form. (Please do not use the online report a repair online form for emergency repairs).

Alternatively non-emergency repairs can be reported between 8:30am and 4:30pm by calling 0300 304 8000. This line is also open 24/7 for emergencies. Emergencies should always be reported by phone to ensure a quick response.

Our general Customer Contact telephone service is available Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm. Inbound and outbound calls may be recorded for training or quality purposes.
