Please be aware that our Customer Service Department will not be available from 12:30pm on Friday 24th September for essential training. Our phone lines will open again at 8am and our Customer Hubs will open at 8:30am on Monday 27th September.
Visiting the offices
The Deane House Hub and the West Somerset House Hub will be open to walk-in customers from Monday 19 July.
We still have some restrictions in place to encourage social distancing and we recommend the wearing of masks although this will no longer be mandatory in line with the lifting of national restrictions.
Our offices are not yet fully open for staff and most of our workforce are still dispersed so if an appropriate officer is not available we will make an appointment for you. We have installed computer touchscreens in our hubs to facilitate virtual meetings.
The Wellington Community Office will remain closed to walk-in customers until the beginning of August but in the meantime our Customer Champions will be able to make appointments for customers at the Wellington Office if convenient.
We would also continue to encourage customers to use our online services or try to resolve issues over the phone where possible - the customer services team are continuing to answer calls between 8am – 6pm on 0300 304 8000.

The Council offices are closed on bank holidays, although you can continue to access online services on this website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our housing repair line and gas servicing telephone service is available Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Calls after these times are directed to our out of hours service and only emergency attendance or repairs are attended to until the following working day at 8.30am.
