How our Helpline works

The unit plugs into your phone socket and your electric socket. Once it’s in place, it’s ready to use.

Our Emergency Response officers are fully trained in first aid and can call out the emergency services, your doctor or carer, depending on the circumstances of your emergency.

Press the red button on your Lifeline pendant or wrist device. This sends a message to our control centre.

An operator will answer your call and decide the best course of action. We can send out an Emergency Response Officer, contact the emergency services, your GP, family or carer, depending on what’s right for you.
