ICT is a key enabler to the vision of the new Council and this exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team to deliver a wide range of technical projects and provide support for the underpinning IT infrastructure. We have big ambitions and are looking for someone who is innovative and creative in the development of the future ICT delivery whilst consolidating around and maximising the opportunities of our existing technology solutions.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who has a broad background when it comes to Infrastructure and Networking, with experience of as many as possible of:

  • Servers and Storage: SAN (Dell), VMWare (5.5 and 6.0), Windows Server (2008 and 2012), Backup operations (Dell Rapid Recovery)
  • Infrastructure Applications: Active Directory (2008 Function Level), ADFS, MS Exchange (on premise), Sharepoint (2013), Migrating to MS365
  • Telephony: VoIP (8x8), Android and Apple phones
  • PC build: SCCM 2012, MDT, Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Network: Cisco and Aruba switch management, Aerohive WiFi, Fortinet security suite
