ICT is a key enabler to the vision of the new Council and this exciting trainee opportunity has arisen to join our team to deliver a wide range of technical projects and provide support for the underpinning IT infrastructure team. We have big ambitions and are looking for someone to join us who is innovative and creative, who would like to develop themselves alongside the development of the future ICT delivery for the new Council.

We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming an Infrastructure and Networking engineer. We would look to provide training and develop you in the following areas:

  • Servers and Storage: changes, upgrades
  • Infrastructure Applications: including Active Directory MS Exchange, Sharepoint
  • Telephony: VoIP, Android and Apple phones
  • PC build: Windows 10
  • Network: Cisco and Aruba switch management, WiFi, Security
