Winner scoops £2000 in Somerset West Lottery prize draw

Another lucky Somerset West and Taunton resident has matched five numbers to win £2,000 in the latest Somerset West Lottery prize draw held on Saturday, 2 April 2022, with a further 17 players winning cash and free ticket prizes.
Run by Somerset West and Taunton (SWT) Council, the Somerset West Lottery is a local lottery offering registered good causes the opportunity to raise income for their organisation from the sale of tickets to supporters and the wider public.
From every £1 ticket sold, 50p is given to locally registered good causes and 10p is entered into a community grant fund for local good causes to apply from annually. The remainder goes toward prizes and operating costs.
The jackpot prize is a whopping £25,000 for a matching sequence of six numbers, with other cash prizes of £2,000, £250, £25 or three free lottery tickets. Draws are made weekly and each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize.
As well as being in with a chance to win £25,000 in the weekly prize draw, anyone buying one or more tickets between 1 March and 23 April 2022 will automatically be entered into the spring bonus prize draw to win a bonus £1,000 gift card to spend in store at B&Q, courtesy of external lottery management company Gatherwell.
