You must be registered to vote by 26 November if you want to vote in the general election on the 12 December. Remember, you only need to register once, not for every election.

Car parks

You can choose how to pay for your parking in our car parks – this is off street parking.

You can use the pay and display ticket machines or the PayByPhone cashless parking system.

Pay on foot is available in six central Taunton car parks. This means you pay when you leave and for the time you have spent in the car park.

Overnight parking

You can park overnight but you will need to check the terms of the car park you intend to park and ensure, if required, that you have paid for a parking session which will cover the start of enforcement the following day.

You can check the locations and charges for car parks across the district.
