Regeneration of Taunton Station

Great Western Railway is currently carrying out a multi-million pound regeneration of Taunton Railway Station which will better integrate Taunton’s transport network. Improvements include:

• A new ticket office, entrance and approach
• New multi-storey car park
• Additional bike spaces will be provided
• Bus and taxi interchange will also be improved

The new approach will considerably ease access to the town centre and Firepool development. The project is expected to complete in Spring 2020.
