Gender pay gap
From 6 April 2017, employers in the UK with more than 250 staff are required by law to publish the following types of figures annually on their own website and on a government website:
- Gender pay gap (mean and median averages)
- Gender bonus gap (mean and median averages)
- Proportion of men and women receiving bonuses
- Proportion of men and women in each quartile of the organisation’s pay structure
Due to the continuing impact of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), announced that employers would have an additional six months after the normal deadline to report their gender pay gap information. Therefore the gender pay gap information published 5 October 2021 relates to data from 31 March 2020.
